A group called the Coalition Against S744 (Immigration Reform) recently penned an open letter full of myths about immigration reform hurting Social Security.

I’m more inclined to believe the Chief Actuary of the Social Security Administration who said: “Over this longer time frame (75 years)… the additional births for the increased population under this bill (S744) will have substantial positive effects.”

Yesterday, House Republicans attempted to repeal Obamacare for the 37^th time. The constitutional authority statement in the bill introduced by Rep. Bachmann cites the 10^th Amendment, the problem is that the 10^th Amendment is a intended to limit Congressional power and not provide it authority to legislate.
