When asked this morning about a clean bill to fund the government, Speaker Boehner said he doesn’t have the votes, despite 21 House Republicans publicly supporting a clean funding bill.
Why isn’t he telling the truth?

STEPHANOPOULOS: I take it from your answer that you’re not prepared to schedule a clean bill on government funding.
BOEHNER: There are not the votes in the House to pass a clean CR.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Are you sure that’s true?
