Prior to being elected to Congress I spent 23 years as a high school teacher and proud union member (Rialto Education Association.)
Labor Day is more than just a day off, it’s about honoring the hard working men and women that built this country.
However, the rights of workers to organize have come under attack these past few years and this day should serve as a reminder that the struggle for a living wage and respect in the workplace is still ongoing.
